Learn how to be a sea turtle habitat steward both on the dune, and in the Lagoon! Brief talk and activities outdoors on deck followed by walk from dune to lagoon (1 mile) with beach cleanup and mangrove adoption. Parents must supervise children, no dropoffs. Please bring sunscreen, hat, water, bug spray as needed. Closed toed shoes that can get wet are recommended. Target grades 4th – 8th grade. Younger children are welcome if they can handle walking outside up to 1 mile. Our trail is not stroller friendly. Each ticket is good for one family. Program is limited to five families. Social distancing from other families is expected. Our staff and volunteers will be wearing masks and you are strongly encouraged to as well. Program is all outdoors and will be weather permitting.
