Tails at the Barkery is sponsoring the “Be the Rainbow” Pet Pride Parade starting in the Gazebo area at 10:00 a.m. in Cocoa Village. Dress your pet in a “Be the Rainbow” costume and enjoy a walk through Cocoa Village for a day-full of Rainbow Pride. 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place awards will be presented to the “most creative rainbow” dressed pets.
Throughout the day, Hello Again Books in Cocoa Village will offer free activities and events to honor and celebrate LGBTQ+ pride within our community. Come dressed to “Be the Rainbow”. Wear your bright colors, your unicorn t-shirt, your tutu… whatever makes you feel happy, full of pride, and ready to celebrate diversity!
Space Coast Pride, PFLAG of Melbourne, and SPEKTRUM Health will be in attendance throughout the day so we can learn more about who they are and show our support.

11am: A Moment of Remembrance
June 12th marks the 5th anniversary of the Pulse shooting. This is about remembering the victims, survivors, families, and all of those impacted by this event, including the community.
11:30am-6pm: “Be the Rainbow” Sticker Scavenger Hunt
Get your map at either Hello Again Books or the Village General Store in Cocoa Village. Collect a sticker from the participating stores identified on the map and have someone stamp your map at each location you visit. When you turn in your map at Hello Again Books, you’ll not only be entered to win a fabulous gift basket, you’ll also get a chance to win free stuff AND have the perfect opportunity to meet someone from one of the amazing organizations in our community: PFLAG of Melbourne, Space Coast Pride, and SPEKTRUM Health. The winner of the fabulous gift basket and other prizes will be announced via Facebook and Instagram. Winners do not need to be present to win.
Should you choose to make a donation to one of the three participating organizations, you’ll earn yourself an extra entry to win the fabulous gift basket. 100% of all donations will go directly to these organizations. 10% of the day’s sales at Hello Again Books, Tails at the Barkery, and several other Cocoa Village stores will be donated to the invited organizations. Don’t forget to take photos of your “Be the Rainbow” outfits, decor, and celebration and post them on social media!
