Volunteers Needed!

Each year, the City of Cape Canaveral plants sea oats along its dunes to protect our shoreline from the destructive forces of erosion, and we need your help planting 20,000 sea oats! This is the most amount of sea oats ever planted in one event by the City!

Starting location will at Cherie Down Park!
8 a.m. – 12 p.m. (or until they are all planted)

The City will provide all the necessary planting supplies for volunteers.

There is no cost to participate in helping us keep our beaches beautiful and strong!

What to Bring
• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Your own trowel for digging (if you have)
• Water
• Your whole family!

Please remember: No dogs allowed on the beach.
