For the first time since 2019, Brevard Zoo guests can experience the Japanese art of bonsai when Bonsai Weekend returns on August 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is organized by the Bonsai Society of Brevard.

The event, which is included with Zoo admission, will feature over 40 miniature trees, vendors, a signature “Shohin Mist” cocktail (must be purchased) and more.

A Bonsai care demonstration will take place at 10 a.m. on both days at the front entrance of the Zoo. No reservation is required to attend.

A Bonsai display will take place inside the Zoo’s Nyami Nyami River Lodge.
