The STARS youth program is designed to help develop the skills necessary to be successful in the performing arts and
also assist young performers in life management skills. The program meets once per week through June.

Placement in the
productions will be based on casting requirements. The rehearsal schedule immediately prior to a production is based on the difficulty of the production.

If cast, there is a $250 fee per STAR. Payment plans are available.

Monday, January 4, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. (14 years old – 18* years old)
*Note: Must be no older than 18 years by June 25, 2021
Virtual auditions must be received for this age group by Jan. 4 at 12 noon.

Monday, January 11, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. (7 years old – 10 years old)
Virtual auditions must be received for this age group by Jan. 11 at 12 noon.

Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. (11 years old – 13 years old)
Virtual auditions must be received for this age group by Jan. 12 at 12 noon.

NOTE: It is encouraged to attend your age appropriate audition, however, you may attend any of the three available dates. We will also be accepting virtual video auditions. More information on how to audition virtually will be available at CocoaVillagePlayhouse.com closer to the first audition date.

If cast, you will be performing in one of three musicals during the summer of 2021 by age group. The youngest group will present Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS, June 4-6. The middle group will present Disney’s Frozen JR, June 11 – 13 and the older Stars will present Les Miserables: School Edition, June 25 – 27. Al three groups will eligible to perform in the Friday Funday Variety show on June 11.
