Fundraising for St. Vincent de Paul Conference of Palm Bay
The Friends of the Poor Walk began as a national program with the purpose of providing local Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences and Councils the additional funds to help support their special works projects. Today, that philosophy continues, with Conferences and Councils using the funds from this event to help local people living in poverty.
This 5k group walk/run will begin at SVDP House located at 300 Malabar Rd. SE Palm Bay, FL 32907 and continue around neighborhoods in the hopes of bringing awareness to the local community.
Registration will begin at 7:30am, Group Walk/Run at 8am, Raffle around 9am.
Fees: Walk/Run only is $10, Event T-shirts $6-$8, and Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the event.
Race participants can register/pay day of the event. We also can receive registration and donations T-W-Th 9-11:30am at SVDP House.
There will be amazing raffle baskets to win! Tickets are on sale now or you can purchase during business hours at SVDP House, or the day of the event.
Raffle Baskets will be displayed the day of the event but we will be posting information about them prior to event. The drawing will begin around 9am, after the race comes to a close. We encourage those participating to be present so you can take your winnings home that day.
This is a family and pet friendly event. Cash, MC, and Visa are accepted for registration, Cash Only for raffle tickets, No ATM is available and parking is free.
